In the corridors of education, the seeds of knowledge are sown. Yet, in the soil of academia, something insidious has taken root. The education system, once a beacon of enlightenment, has metamorphosed into a complex web of indoctrination. The minds of the young, impressionable students are molded not just by the pursuit of knowledge but by a subtle shaping of ideologies, a silent indoctrination into a worldview that may not be their own.

The scriptures warn, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6, KJV). The power to mold the future lies in the hands of those who guide the young minds. The problem is, “who ever tells the story, owns the story.” The question then arises: What way are the children being trained? The demons that wreak havoc in the world, influenced by the dark orchestrator himself, find their defeat not in the weapons of war but in the indomitable spirit of those who refuse to be swayed by the tide of deception. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, speaks of the armor of God, a spiritual arsenal that equips believers for the battles that transcend the earthly realm.

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:11-12).

The call to stand against the wiles of the devil is not a call to arms but a call to spiritual fortitude. (5) “And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (6) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” {King James Version}

Clearly, this third seal pictures famine stalking the land see (Matthew 24:7; Luke 21:11). Biblically, the color black—unlike our modern conception of it as the color of evil, as opposed to white—signifies mourning and ill health as a result of scarcity see ( Jeremiah 14:2; Lamentations 5:10; Nahum 2:10); all of which, in Hebrew, describe people’s expressions, skins, or faces as “black” due to want). This is in keeping with another use of black or darkness in Scripture: as a sign of God’s judgment for sin (Zephaniah 1:15; Joel 2:2). Despite this, the color white is classified as a curse in these scriptures (Gen 19: 24, Numbers 12: 9-10, Exodus 4:6-7) as each has its own description in context of what it’s aiming to indicate as the subject matter.

The pair of scales, of course, suggests similar things, adding an economic element, as grains or other foods would often be weighed for sale. Scales could also be used, as is likely intended in the third seal, to ration food during a time of scarcity. In the vision, a denarius represents a laborer’s daily wage, and a quart of grain equals a person’s daily nutritional requirement. The third horseman, then, portrays a scenario of hunger and suffering when the powers that be tightly control the supply of staple foods at highly inflated prices.

Finally, there is the curious phrase, “do not harm the oil and the wine.” Commentators have been debating the meaning of this command for centuries. It is clearly spoken by God, sitting among the four living creatures, and just as He sets the famine prices of grain, He also decrees that oil and wine be spared any harm. How are we to understand this?

Olive oil and wine are not luxury items, as many take them to be; in the Mediterranean world, they are important supporting elements of the common diet see (Deuteronomy 7:13; Hosea 2:8; Haggai 1:11; etc.). However, while they provide supplementary nutrition, people cannot subsist on them alone. Thus, they are secondary food items, and in the prophecy, they remain plentiful. This leads to two possible conclusions:

1. God is limiting the severity of famines, as “the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6) and “these are the beginning of sorrows” (verse 8); or more likely,

2. He is indicating a measure of disparity and irregularity in these famines. Some foods will be scarce, while others are abundant. Some people will be sorely affected, while others will hardly suffer. Some areas will be hit hard, while others feel little impact.

This second conclusion suggests human involvement, a wild card in every circumstance, which would fit well with the first two seals. Unlike simple natural disasters, religious deceptions and wars require the decisions and actions of people to bring them about. God hints at a human element in all these disasters, including famine, that occur down through the centuries to remind us of our culpability in them. When man governs without the guidance of God, catastrophe and destruction are not far behind.

King David: A Man After God’s Own Heart*

The story of King David is one of the most captivating and inspiring narratives found in the Bible. His life is chronicled in the books of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles, providing a detailed account of his journey from a shepherd boy to the illustrious king of Israel. The biblical account of David’s life spans numerous chapters, and we will explore his story, accomplishments, and the legacy he left behind.

Early Life and Anointing:

David’s story begins in the town of Bethlehem, where he was born into the family of Jesse, a descendant of Ruth and Boaz. He was the youngest of eight sons. Samuel, the prophet, was instructed by God to anoint the next king of Israel from among Jesse’s sons.

“And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab and said, Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him. But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:6-7, KJV)

After considering seven of Jesse’s sons, Samuel inquired if there were any more. It was then that David, who had been tending the sheep, was brought before Samuel.”And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.” (1 Samuel 16:12-13).

This anointing marked the beginning of David’s journey toward kingship. However, the path was not without challenges.

David and Goliath:

David’s fame grew when he faced the giant Goliath, a Philistine champion who taunted the Israelites. While Saul and the Israelite army trembled in fear, David, armed with faith and a sling, boldly confronted Goliath. “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” (1 Samuel 17:45).

With a single stone, David struck Goliath in the forehead, and the giant fell. This victory catapulted David into the limelight and endeared him to the people. Saul, already king, became both intrigued and threatened by David’s rise.

Saul’s Jealousy and Pursuit:

Saul’s initial favor toward David soon turned into jealousy. David’s popularity, military successes, and the people’s acclaim fueled Saul’s paranoia. “And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.” (1 Samuel 18:9). Saul’s attempts to eliminate David led to a protracted period of persecution. David, however, demonstrated remarkable trust in God, refusing to harm Saul despite opportunities to do so.

David’s Friendship with Jonathan:

In the midst of adversity, David formed a deep and enduring friendship with Saul’s son, Jonathan. Their bond was characterized by loyalty, trust, and a shared commitment to God. “And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.” (1 Samuel 18:1). Jonathan’s support played a crucial role in David’s survival during Saul’s wrathful pursuits.

David’s Exile and Refuge:

Fleeing from Saul, David entered a period of exile, during which he gathered a band of loyal followers, often referred to as “David’s mighty men.” He sought refuge in various locations, including the cave of Adullam.

And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.” (1 Samuel 22:2). Throughout this time, David’s trust in God remained steadfast, and his character was tested in various ways.

Saul’s Death and David’s Reign:

Saul’s tragic end in battle marked the conclusion of the period of persecution for David. Despite the hardships, David mourned Saul’s death and honored the Lord. Following Saul’s demise, David was anointed king over Judah in Hebron. Subsequently, he was anointed as king over all of Israel. David’s reign, which lasted for 40 years, is considered one of the most prosperous and stable periods in Israel’s history.

The Ark of the Covenant:

One of David’s significant undertakings as king was bringing the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. The ark symbolized God’s presence, and David desired to establish a central place of worship. “So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.” (2 Samuel 6:12). However, an incident occurred during the transportation that resulted in the death of Uzzah. This event prompted David to seek God with a renewed understanding of His holiness.

God’s Covenant with David:

God made a covenant with David, promising an everlasting kingdom through his descendants. “And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” (2 Samuel 7:12-13, KJV).

This covenant, known as the Davidic Covenant, finds its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ, a descendant of David.

David’s Military Campaigns:

David’s reign was marked by military victories over neighboring nations, including the Philistines, Moabites, and Syrians. His military successes expanded Israel’s borders and solidified its influence in the region. And the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went.” (2 Samuel 8:14).

David’s prowess in battle earned him admiration and fear among the surrounding nations.

David and Bathsheba:

Despite his many triumphs, David’s life was not without moral failings. The most notorious incident was his affair with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. “And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; the woman was very beautiful to look upon.” (2 Samuel 11:2).

David’s actions led to a series of tragic events, including the death of Uriah and the rebuke of the prophet Nathan. David’s repentance and God’s forgiveness, however, illustrate the depth of God’s mercy.

Absalom’s Rebellion:

David’s family life was also marked by turmoil. The rebellion of his son Absalom is a poignant episode in the biblical narrative. Absalom’s ambition to seize the throne led to a rebellion against David. “And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.” (2 Samuel 15:12).

David, forsaken by some of his closest advisers, fled Jerusalem to avoid bloodshed. The heart-wrenching scenes of David lamenting over Absalom’s death reveal the complex emotions of a father torn between love and kingship.

David’s Psalms:

David’s legacy extends beyond his political and military achievements. He is renowned for his poetic prowess, and many of the Psalms found in the Bible are attributed to him. These psalms encompass a wide range of emotions, from expressions of joy and praise to pleas for mercy and forgiveness.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1). David’s psalms provide a glimpse into the depth of his relationship with God and serve as a timeless source of comfort and inspiration for believers.

Solomon’s Succession:

As David’s reign neared its end, the question of succession arose. Solomon, Bathsheba’s son, was anointed as the next king. David’s charge to Solomon, recorded in 1 Kings 2, contains both practical advice and spiritual insights.

The Fall of Lucifer:

The name “Satan” is derived from the Hebrew word “Satan,” which means “adversary” or “accuser.” In Christian tradition, Satan is often depicted as a fallen angel who rebelled against God. The primary passage in the Bible that alludes to Satan’s rebellion is found in the book of Isaiah:

Hello, my friends and seekers of the truth! One of “God’s Ten Commandments” is causing me great concern, and I hope it will cause you similar concern after reading this article. In today’s modern culture, there is a tremendous amount of disagreement about how to carry out this single commandment, and as you’ll see, it’s not by the design of Our Father in Heaven.

This is a lawless age, and crime and violence are spreading at an alarming rate because there is practically no regard for the law or constituted authority, even among lawgivers. Nations live in fear on the international stage because they know that so-called “guarantees and peace treaties” aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

Men have lost any deep regard for the law because they have forgotten the source of all law and power: ‘Heaven! There is no respect for authority among the nations of the world. This is the world in which we live! Your Bible says: “There is one lawgiver who can save and destroy (James 4:12).” That lawgiver is “Almighty God!”

In their modern desire for a man-made “peace of mind” or a “satisfying religion,” men have completely forgotten about the tremendous “God who rules this part of His universe!” No wonder some of our young people—the leaders of tomorrow—have such a lawless mentality. When you leave the true “God out,” no real standard of behavior is left.

The end outcome is spiritual disorder, lawlessness, and wretchedness in human hearts. One cause for this is the desire to “modernize” and “democratize” God and abolish His right to manage His world, including us as His creatures. This trend can be seen in all the bewildering present-day religious denominations. There are indeed very few “God-fearing men and women” left on earth today.

Having made their imaginative pet “god” in their image, those of us awake certainly do not stand in awe and deep respect for such a “god,” and we definitely do not obey or worship this creature of their imagination, but sadly, many do! The main issue I am writing about today is the worship of this image. Once I reveal it, many will be mad, sad, or glad that the truth is not hidden anymore.

You’ll recognize it because you see it in churches, books, your home, and, in many cases, in your mind when you worship it! “Yes, millions of professing Christians worship images or representations of a so-called Jesus Christ!” To begin with, the use of anything that represents “God” or may readily be misunderstood as an object of worship is clearly prohibited by the Second Commandment.

This would explicitly prohibit any depiction or resemblance of His person! And, for those who want to “reason or dispute” about it, these so-called images of Christ bear no resemblance to the way Jesus Christ actually appeared! For many scholars who know and identify with (Revelation 1:14–15), it offers a clue that Jesus’ skin was a darker hue and that His hair was woolly in texture.

The hairs of His head, it says, “were white as white wool, white as snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and His feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace. “Jesus, when in human flesh, was a Jew (Hebrews 7:14).The features in most of His supposed pictures are obviously not Jewish! Christ inspired the Apostle Paul to write: “Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him? (1 Corinthians 11:14).

Nonetheless, these images always depict a man with long hair, gentle feminine features, and a tender, sanctimonious expression in His eyes. This is not the Christ of the Bible! For that historical period, Jesus would have looked incredibly masculine. He was a carpenter working outside as a young man. Even during His ministry, He spent the majority of His time outside. (In my research of this image, I found it to be a picture by Warner Elias Sallman an American painter from Chicago, best known for his works of Christian religious imagery).

The historical Israelites and/or Hebrews who spread Judaism were not just a homogeneous group united by a common ideology, that being the Jewish religion; they formed an ethnoreligious group from which the bulk of modern Jews are directly descended, and hence an ethnic form of Jewish identity exists as an example, “Black African Americans” Jews from the Mediterranean and North Africa who follow Sephardic religion.

Those in the know consider Jewishness to be primarily an issue of ancestry and culture rather than religion. As a result, most crucifixes, photos, and depictions of Jesus contradict every description provided of Him in God’s sacred word! Many will claim they do not worship these pictures, but that’s not the truth; the image has found a home in many because of the years of it’s indoctrination.

Please pray for strength to escape from this bondage. This image is dangerous idolatry that has caused great harm to a population group that shares a common cultural background and ancestry. An evil that allowed a certain mindset in the modern world—the ability to picture dominance over a population they thought less of because of the imagery that was promoted.

Brothers and sisters, this was on my heart, and I felt empowered through “God’s Holy Spirit” to help with releasing those minds from the affliction that has been seeded in generations past and present. Those devils I warn you about give a false impression of the true Jesus Christ in every respect. As a human being, Jesus was a normal, healthy young Jewish carpenter in His early thirties, full of earnestness and conviction.

However, if we think of Jesus’ appearance at all, we should think, in general terms at least, of the way He looks today. He has described this for us in (Revelation 1:14), “ His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. Jesus’s face now shines with radiance and power.

And one more caution before I go: One of the most common forms of modern idolatry is making an idol out of one’s church or an agency in society. For many people, this world’s society, with its dictates, customs, and traditions, can become a literal god to them. Many people are desperately afraid of doing anything that might be regarded as different or odd.

They feel they must conform to this world and its ways. But God commands: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). This command must seem very hard to obey for some people who get to thinking that other people must be right in what they think, say, and practice; don’t just listen to anybody, “even me.” Do as our Bible says: “Prove them or it yourself of all things; test (1 Thessalonians 5:21).”

The Bible shows that many people in Jesus’s day failed in their worship, for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God (John 12:43). If you blindly obey the customs and traditions of your family, your church, or society instead of the commands of the word of God, you are guilty of a form of idolatry.

So, “Stop giving away 10% of your money to your church, or any of it that hurts, by not paying your bills, and stop seeding; these things are not biblical; it’s to rob you like all the other 7-11’s on the corner. These are demonic principalities in brick and mortar, following the appetite of men’s traditions of (today’s modern 501 c-3s tax-exempt status, which created dark hearts and legal thievery).

Give when you can and more if you have it, for the true cause of Christ’s ministry and not society’s wickedness.

For we are told in Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” A man who is determined to undermine the scriptural proof of the firmament, undermines the handy work of God.

For those who believe the firmament to have disappeared after the flood, why is it that King David wrote the following in Psalm 148:4: “Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.” You see, the same waters that were held back by the firmament in Genesis 1:6-8 continue to hold back the waters after the great flood even till this very moment.

The following notes are a response to those who deny that a physical “firmament/dome” structure is being stretched above our heads.

Genesis 1:6-8 – With understanding the properties of water, it requires a physically hardened substance to keep it contained. Thus, a dome/firmament is not only logical, but is within the proper context of scripture.

“He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.” (Job 26:7 – KJV) From the “north” is being “stretched” over what empty place?

“Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?” (Job 37:18) The premise of this verse is a “question” being posed, in order to put “man” in perspective to the Creator. In that teaching moment God reveals a truth about the “expanse,” that it is “strong” just like a “molten looking glass.”

“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:” (Isaiah 40:22 – KJV) This verse shares the same language Job 26:7. What in the “heavens” is being “stretched out” as a curtain? What in the “heavens” are “spread out that would allow us to live under it as a “tent?”

“Thus saith Yahuwah thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am Yahuwah that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” (Isaiah 44:24 – KJV) Again, what is being “stretched” in the heavens?

“I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” (Isaiah 45:12 -KVJ) This verse, Isaiah 45:12, is in agreement with Job 26:7 and Job 37:18, as well as, there is no contradiction within the inspired words of God. Only a fool is willing to declare God a liar by stating that His hands have NOT stretched out the heavens.” Let God be true and every man a liar.” (Romans 3:4)

“Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.” (Isaiah 48:13 – KJV) What is being “spanned” by God in the heavens?

Ezekiel 1:22-26, Ezekiel 10:1 – The analogies of the “firmament” make no sense without a literal “firmament.”

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3 – KJV) Just as the firmament is described as firm like a molten looking glass, it has a hardened surface from which a “shine” can occur.

“Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens and founds his vault upon the earth;” (Amos 9:6a – ESV) – Vaults are sealed to a surface to contain the contents within, maybe even a firmament?

“And he said, ‘Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.’” (Acts 7:56 – KJV) If the “heavens” are only the open expanse/sky, why would it have to be re-opened? What is being “opened?” Perhaps, the firmament?

“and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.” (Revelation 4:6a – KJV) See also Job 37:18.

“The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.” (Revelation 6:14 – KJV) What is being “departed as a scroll when it is rolled together?”

If anyone is causing a divide/wedge over the true existence of the dome or firmament, it is the obstinance of man to reject God’s Word for His descriptions of His firmament.

NOTE: The Bible uses words that describe the sun, with only a few known exceptions, as “moving,” though some believe that words like “rising” and “down” imply the sun is moving “up” and “down” over the alleged curvature of the earth. In addition to spinning globe earth believing Christians completely missing the fact that the Bible uses words which describe the sun as “moving” they also fail to analyze the original Hebrew and Greek meaning of those same words.

The original Hebrew and Greek words have meanings, such as, to come, to go, to irradiate (or shoot forth beams), to appear, as soon as it appears, eastside, eastward, an entrance, the west, by which came, as cometh, in coming, entering, entrance into, entry, where goeth, westward. And, these words are relating to the placement (“direction”) of the sun in relation to the context of the particular Biblical account. Unless one is willing to depart from the true meanings of these words and cause contradictions with other verses that state the earth as being FLAT, there is no case to be made for the sun to be “rising or “going down” over the alleged curvature of the imaginary and unprovable ball/sphere shaped earth.
