“Let the peace of Christ dwell in you richly—welcome, dear friend!” The Lord’s joy is our strength, and we are so happy to share it with you today! God brought you here for a reason—may His love lead you deeper into truth and grace!
“Welcome!” After your visit, I hope we can become friends who are dedicated to the same pursuit of knowledge that can lead to soul freedom! The following article in the “Thrones of Darkness” series is Mirrors and Masks: Identity Theft by Demonic Design. The veil will be lifted once more, this time from the face in the mirror, so let’s get started, my new friend.
That face once reflected the image of God, but now it flickers, contorts, and mimics something else entirely. Identity—once given by the Creator—has been hijacked. Gender confusion, soul splitting, altered personas, false identities online and off… all of it part of a grand deception. This is identity theft by design—not human error, but demonic engineering.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV), “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” (John 10:10).
I. Identity Was Sacred—Then It Was Stolen:
From the beginning, mankind was created with:
- Divine identity — made in God’s image.
- Spiritual authority — dominion over creation.
- Gendered purpose — male and female, each unique.
- A name written in heaven.
But Satan, the great thief, hated this. He couldn’t destroy God’s image, so he did the next best thing: corrupted the mirror. He shattered mankind’s reflection through:
- Trauma.
- Rebellion.
- Cultural lies.
- False doctrine.
- Sorcery and tech.
II. The Rise of Fragmented Selves/Today, many live as:
- Alter egos on social media.
- Split personalities from abuse or demonic torment.
- Gender-confused vessels at war with their bodies.
- Virtual avatars with no soul.
- People-pleasers, hiding behind trauma-born masks.
This fragmentation is spiritual warfare/Demons seek to:
- Erase the image of God.
- Rewrite names given by heaven.
- Introduce counterfeit purposes.
- Possess what no longer has a center.
“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:8).
III. Fictional Interlude: The Digital Mirror:
Sierra loved her online persona: bold, perfect, confident. Offline, she was anxious, ashamed, and empty. One day, while editing a new profile pic, the screen glitched. Her reflection smirked when she didn’t. It winked. That night, she dreamed of drowning in glass. When she awoke, her voice wasn’t hers. She spoke… but something else answered. She had established a boundage with her invisible alter-ego.
IV. Gender Confusion and Demon Doctrine:
“Male and female created He them…” (Genesis 5:2). But today:
- Children are told gender is a feeling.
- Schools teach identity is fluid.
- Hormones and surgeries attempt to remake creation.
- And those who question it are labeled haters.
‘Friends, this is not science. It’s sorcery. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools…” (Romans 1:22). The spirit behind this is not love—it is Leviathan (twisting) and Asmodeus (perversion). These ancient demons confuse, mutilate, and enslave souls in false forms.
V. The Mask of Religion and Success:
Not all masks are obvious/ Many Christians:
- Hide pain with performance.
- Pretend holiness without intimacy.
- Memorize verses but ignore repentance.
- Smile while secretly bound by sin.
‘Friends, these are religious masks, and they are gateways for possession. Satan doesn’t just want the lost—he wants the masked in the Church.
VI. The Artificial Identity Age/ Through digital addiction and AI-enhanced life:
- People now “curate” personalities.
- Facial filters alter the body image.
- Metaverses offer escape from real identity.
- Deepfakes blur what’s real.
All of it points to one goal/ An identity so shattered, only the Beast can define you.
VII. How Demons Take Advantage:
They enter through:
- Trauma-induced fractures of the soul.
- Role-play and masking that becomes demonic hosting.
- Ritual abuse (SRA) that creates programmed identities.
- Agreements: “I wish I were someone else” — creates an open door!
Many today are possessed not by one demon—but by a host… because the soul is divided ( “a legion,” Mark 5:1-20).
VIII. How to Restore the True Self:
- Repent of false identities.
- Break soul ties with avatars, alters, and past selves.
- Renounce lies spoken over you.
- Ask God to reveal your name—He calls you by name (Isaiah 43:1).
- Fast and pray for soul wholeness.
- Cast out spirits that entered through role-play or rebellion.
- Declare your body belongs to God—not culture, not the crowd.
🖋 Author’s Note:
Mirrors and Masks; Identity Theft by Demonic Design peels back one of the most tragic deceptions of our age; the war for human identity. Where God once named, formed, and breathed purpose into every soul, Satan now seeks to rename, distort, and possess what God made sacred.
Through trauma, lies, and technology, the devil has fractured the souls of men and women, turning them into shells of their original design. The rise of gender confusion is not a political issue—it’s a spiritual assault on the image of God. When the world says you can be anything except what God made you, you are witnessing Leviathan twisting the truth until it dies along with you!
Even in the church, many believers wear religious masks to hide brokenness. They fear rejection, so they project perfection. But masks only delay deliverance. The truth is, many today are living under false names, with split identities, in bondage to personas that demons inhabit like puppets.
Yet God’s mercy still reaches for them. The Lord desires to restore the whole person, not just patch up the mask. Jesus came not only to save, but to give us our names back—our true, eternal identity in Him. Every lie can be broken. Every mask can fall. Every soul can be made whole again!
This article is both a warning and a healing invitation. The next generation is being groomed to forget who they are—so that they will accept the mark of someone else’s image (“the beast”). But if we return to the Word, to the presence of God, and to the healing ministry of the Spirit, the shattered can be restored. There is still a mirror in heaven. And in it, God still only “sees the real you, your heart.”
Repent, Stay Prayed-Up, Love One Another!
