Hi, friends! This is the ninth installment of the Poison Age series, which I hope will motivate everyone who reads a call to duty. The tenth installment will be released shortly. We should view this enemy as a significant cautionary tale in our lives because it is real and does not take prisoners.
The Oldest Lie Never Died:
‘Friends, the serpent did not vanish after Eden. He adapted. What began as a whisper in a garden became a legacy of distortion, passed through families, kingdoms, and institutions. “That old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.” (Revelation 12:9, KJV).
How Lies Become Heirlooms:
Deception learned to survive by inheritance—not merely taught, but transferred. Not all inheritance is physical. Beliefs, fears, traditions, and unchallenged assumptions move through generations more reliably than wealth. When lies are embedded into culture, they are no longer questioned they are assumed.
Empires rose carrying the same serpent logic:
- Power without accountability.
- Authority without righteousness.
- Order without God.
Only the names changed.
Bloodlines and the Illusion of Destiny:
Scripture shows that lineage does not determine righteousness—but deception often hides behind ancestry. When tradition replaces obedience, correction feels like betrayal. This is how lies survive reformations, revolutions, and collapses. They simply change uniforms. The serpent does not require loyalty to him—only loyalty to what he planted.

- Moral compromise.

God repeatedly interrupts bloodline destiny with truth. He calls individuals out of systems, families, and empires. Inheritance ends where repentance begins. Scripture does not teach that people are bound forever, but it warns that unchallenged lies outlive generations.
‘Friends, “Why This Matters Now:”
The final deception depends on familiarity. If lies feel ancestral, they feel safe. If they feel traditional, they feel righteous. But truth does not age. It exposes every inheritance that contradicts God.

The phrase “serpent’s inheritance” is symbolic. It does not accuse families, cultures, or nations—it describes a mechanism. When traditions are elevated above truth, correction becomes offensive. When ancestry becomes authority, repentance becomes rebellion.
Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly calls individuals out of inherited systems—Abraham from Ur, Israel from Egypt, disciples from religious institutions. The pattern is consistent: salvation is personal, not ancestral.
This essay is not meant to inspire suspicion of heritage, but discernment of belief. What we inherit must be tested. What we repeat must be examined. What we defend reflexively may require repentance. I avoided naming modern families or empires intentionally. The danger is not who inherited power—it is what was inherited with it.
