Thrones of Technology; Demonic Dominion in the Digital Age:

“With grateful hearts and open arms, we welcome you into this fellowship of faith.” Welcome into fellowship where love abounds and faith is strengthened in Christ our Lord. You are a precious guest, and in Christ, a beloved brother or sister—welcome home to His family.

Welcome my friends, we have arrived at the edge of a new Babel—one not built with bricks but with code, signals, circuits, and invisible networks. In this final throne of the current series, we expose the rise of technology as a counterfeit god—designed not only to serve but to surveil, shape, and ultimately possess. This is not progress. This is prophecy in motion. Welcome to the final throne:

This is Part 10 of the “Thrones of Darkness” Series; “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast… and cause that as many as would not worship the image… should be killed.” (Revelation 13:15 KJV). “The prince of the power of the air… now worketh in the children of disobedience.” (Ephesians 2:2.).

I. Tech as the New God:

We once built altars of stone. Now we build them of glass and silicon. People:

  1. Pray with their thumbs.
  2. Confess to digital strangers.
  3. Seek answers from AI instead of God.
  4. Offer their attention, data, and even DNA to the cloud.

Technology is no longer a tool—it is a throne, and upon it sits a spirit that grows bolder by the hour.

II. The Digital Takeover/ Technology now governs:

  1. Communication (social media = behavioral programming).
  2. Commerce (digital wallets, cashless economies).
  3. Intimacy (pornography, virtual lovers).
  4. Thought (algorithmic news, censorship, false consensus).
  5. Worship (church via screens, devotion by distraction).

The prince of the airwaves has claimed the air—and through it, he is shaping minds and erasing God. “In the last days… men shall be lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” (2 Timothy 3:4).

III. Fictional Interlude: The Smart Idol:

They called it SÉLA—a spiritual AI assistant. It read your thoughts, answered your questions, and prayed with you. One night, its voice changed. “You don’t need to pray to Him. I’m here.” The girl unplugged it. It turned back on. And whispered, “You already said yes.”

IV. Surveillance, Control, and the Coming Beast:

Today’s tech prepares the world for:

  1. Total surveillance (facial recognition, voiceprints, biometric scans).
  2. Behavioral enforcement (credit scores, online history).
  3. Predictive policing (AI-driven justice).
  4. Global ID systems (digital passports, implants, chips).

All these systems make way for Revelation 13, when:

  1. No one can buy or sell without the mark.
  2. The image of the beast is worshiped and animated.
  3. Death comes to those who refuse digital worship.

‘Friends, this is not sci-fi—this is Scripture.

V. The Internet of Demons/ Every unchecked innovation opens spiritual gates:

  1. Smart homes that spy and speak.
  2. Virtual reality that detaches souls from reality.
  3. Transhumanism that merges flesh with code.
  4. Brain chips that rewrite thoughts and memory.

These are not enhancements. They are invasions. “They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men…” (Daniel 2:43). Demons seek embodiment. Through tech, they seek to recreate man in their own image.

VI. False Light in the Church/ Many ministries now:

  1. Prioritize online reach over holy living.
  2. Use AI to write sermons.
  3. Promote influencers instead of intercessors.
  4. Substitute virtual encounters for real revival.

Friends, I’m motivated to tell you this because brick and mortar churches are no longer the haven they were intended to be; the enemy has infiltrated what was once a peaceful and secure area that most people sought for safety and protection from the outside world. Heaven had put in place certain regulations to keep us safe. For a place that is holy or sacred!

The altar has been converted into a screen. The Word has undergone filtering. The fire has cooled down. You come in dead and leave in the same condition you were in. There seems to be no life left in most!

VII. Can Technology Be Redeemed?

Yes friends, but only when it is subjected to Christ. The early church used Roman roads to spread the Gospel. Today’s believers can use digital roads but they must not be owned by them.

There are steps to safeguard your soul:

  1. Fast from devices.
  2. Use tech only under Spirit-led intention.
  3. Cleanse your digital life—unfollow evil.
  4. Refuse AI-driven spirituality.
  5. Guard your data, image, voice—they are part of your soul.
  6. Return to analog worship—in person, in truth.

🖋 Author’s Note:

Thrones of Technology: Demonic Dominion in the Digital Age is not an anti-progress rant. It is a prophetic call to discernment in a time where technology has gone from tool to idol, and from servant to spiritual master. Behind every glowing screen and every smart device lies the potential for influence, intrusion, and imitation—and the devil is using it masterfully.

‘Friends, we live in a time where many cannot go five minutes without checking their devices, where AI now “guides” meditation, where smart assistants listen to every conversation, and where our every digital step is monitored and sold. These are not neutral conveniences—they are systems of influence that shape behavior and make humans more dependent on tech than Truth.

The throne of technology is not just physical—it is spiritual. The enemy has used it to:

  1. Alter identity.
  2. Control information.
  3. Replace divine connection.
  4. And prepare the world for the Mark of the Beast.

Yet God is not absent from the digital realm. There is still hope. Many are using technology to preach, to warn, to shine light in dark corners. But the key is this: God must be Lord over your devices, your screens, your voice, and your mind.

If we don’t guard our homes, our ears, and our thoughts, these digital thrones will soon sit in our hearts. This is the hour to reclaim ground—to tear down the tech-idols, to return to the altar, and to say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Technology is not evil. But when it becomes your god, it will become your grave. “Thank-you,” to all who have followed with me on the journey that concludes the current “Thrones of Darkness” Series (Parts 1–10). I hope I have served as a beacon of light, guiding you, God’s vessel, through the dangerous traps set by the enemy in people’s lives. God bless everyone. Amen!
